Composite and timber decking in Sheffield and the Peak District
Low-maintenance composite or classic timber, designed, supplied and installed by one local team. Over five years of decks across the Peak and Yorkshire.
Overview
A deck that suits the house, the garden and the weather.
Peak District gardens slope, sit on stone and get more rain than most. We build decks for exactly that: engineered sub-frames, proper drainage and boards that stay safe underfoot through winter.
Whether it's a small terrace off the kitchen or a raised platform over a valley, you deal with the same crew from site visit to handover.
Options
Composite, timber or a mix of both.
We install both and will tell you honestly which suits your budget, garden and appetite for maintenance.

FAQ
Decking questions we get asked.
How much does decking cost in Sheffield?
Most garden decks land between £3,000 and £12,000 depending on size, material and how much groundwork is needed. Composite costs more up front, timber costs more to maintain. Every quote is free and itemised.
Composite or timber, which should I choose?
Composite for low upkeep and exposed gardens; timber for warmth, budget and a natural look you're happy to oil every year or two.
Do I need planning permission for a deck?
Usually not. Decks under 30cm high that cover less than half the garden fall under permitted development. Raised decks and listed buildings or National Park plots can differ, and we'll flag it on the site visit.
How long does a deck take to build?
Three to six days on site for most garden decks. Larger or multi-level builds take longer, and we give a fixed schedule in the quote.
